HOYLANDSWAINE’S summer festival is set to return to the village later this month.

Running from June 28 to June 30, a number of events will be taking place at the village’s cricket ground.

This includes a local bird walk, as well as a scarecrow trail throughout the village on Saturday and Sunday.

Musical entertainment takes place in the village hall on Friday evening and outside the Rose and Crown on Saturday evening,

A tractor run will also take place on Sunday afternoon.
