IN what has now become an annual event the Yorkshire Military Band are visiting Barnsley to raise funds for the Africa With Love charity.

On January 25 at Emmanuel Church in the town centre, the beloved band will present a ‘Thank You for the Music’ show to raise funds for school children in Uganda.

Entry to the show is by donation, and there will be a charity raffle hosted on the day.

Following the event, a team from the church will head to Africa in February and meet all the kids supported by the funds.
