SOUTH Yorkshire Fire and Rescue hosted a ‘Have a Go’ session on Saturday for those who are looking to become on-call firefighters.
The event was held at Penistone Fire Station.
The service is also recruiting on-call fireifghters at Dearne station.
A spokesperson said: “Have you wondered what training you’ll receive as an on-call firefighter?
“You’ll learn basic firefighting skills, how to respond to road traffic collisions, how to work at height and how to use breathing apparatus.”
