Runners urged to sign up for Barnsley 10k

BARNSLEY Council is encouraging locals to sign up to the Barnsley 10k race later this year - and there are fewer than 1,000 entries remaining.

The race will take place on Sunday, June 29 after returning last year.

A council spokesperson said: “Last year’s event was a great day which helped to raise thousands for so many worthy charities, and it would be fantastic to see even more people taking part.
