TWO more suspected drug dealers were arrested in Royston on Friday night, with Class A drugs and a weapon recovered.

On Friday, North East NPT officers stopped a black Seat Ibiza in Royston which was believed to be involved in the supply of class A drugs in the local area.

A police spokesperson said: “Two females were detained from the vehicle, and a subsequent search of them both led to the discovery of a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and a bladed weapon. Both were arrested and have been bailed with specific conditions pending forensic results.

“We will continue to tackle drug supply in the local area. You can report information relating to this through the SYP official channels or on Crimestoppers.”
