NEXT year will mark the 40th anniversary since the launch of a local charity.

DIAL is a local charity supporting disabled people, their families and carers in Barnsley.

They provide free, confidential information, advice and support to enable local people to achieve their aspirations and live independent lives.

They’ll celebrate their 40th anniversary next year.

A spokesperson said: “Throughout 2025, we’ll commemorate this milestone by sharing stories, running a fundraising campaign, and hosting community events.

“The celebrations will culminate in an art competition and exhibition on our 40th birthday in October.”
