A CELEBRATED choir celebrating its 100th anniversary is preparing a few final shows before their centenary year ends.
The Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir have enjoyed an incredible centenary year, with a recent show at Wentworth Woodhouse which was attended by the likes of Mayor John Clarke and MP for Barnsley South Stephanie Peacock.
Though the year isn’t over yet, and tonight they will have a seasonal show at 7pm in the Highgate Club in Goldthorpe.
This will be followed on Wednesday by a private concert for residents at Beeches Care Home in Wath.
Then, on December 21, they will be joined by the Barnburgh Village Singers for a show at St John and St Mary Magdalene Church in Goldthorpe.
Tickets remain available for that one and can be bought on the night.
