BARNSLEY Council has announced changes to its bin collection days over the Christmas and New Year period.

If your bin is due to be collected on Christmas Eve it will be collected on Monday December 23.

And if your collection was scheduled for Christmas Day it will be emptied on Christmas Eve,

Those scheduled for Boxing Day will be collected the following day on Friday December 27.

Bins scheduled for collection on Friday December 27 will be collected on Saturday December 28.

The following week, bins scheduled for collection on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday) will be collected the previous day, Monday December 30.

And if your bin is due for collection on New Year’s Day (Wednesday) it will be collected the previous day on New Year’s Eve.
