THE council has warned that waste collections are likely to be disrupted all this week.
A council spokesperson said: “This is due to snow and ice affecting safe access for refuse collection vehicles and for our crews.
“We operate large, heavy vehicles and the safety of our employees and residents is always our first priority. We have had collection crews working today where it has been safe to do so.”
The council has asked residents to continue to put bins out on your normal scheduled day.
