A LOCAL care home is appealing for raffle donations in a bid to bring festive cheer to its residents this Christmas.
Conifers Nursing Home at Wombwell is organising the raffle and Chloe, an admin at the home said: “We're trying to raise funds for our residents for over the Christmas period and therefore, we have started a raffle.
“We're looking for raffle donations where possible, no matter how big or small. I'm happy to collect if you can drop a message to our Facebook page.
“We've already had some local businesses donate and we're loving that the community is coming together. Thank you all.”
