THERE will be some disruption for drivers and public transport users next week.
Buses will be unable to serve a number of stops in Hoyland. From Tuesday until Friday, the 2 and 2a services will not stop at Broadcarr Road and Milton Road. A Stagecoach spokesperson said: “Your nearest alternative stops are High Street/Market Street or Southgate/High Croft. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.”
Also, temporary traffic lights will be in-situ in Kendray on Wednesday. The lights will be in place on Hunningley Lane between 9am and 5pm. Network Rail are responsible for the work taking place.
And a Monk Bretton road will be closed whilst Barnsley Council undertake works. Gainsborough Way will be shut off from Clarence Road to Tennyson Road from tomorrow (Monday) until Friday. Residents have been told that delays are likely whilst the work takes place.
