A LAST-MINUTE venue change has occurred for one of the town’s most popular dementia-friendly events.
The Friendship Lunch on Thursday (January 30) was originally intended to take place at the Toby Carvery in Dodworth, however will now be at the nearby Fairway pub in Dodworth.
The event will still feature entertainment from resident performer Oliver Harris and will return to Toby Carvery on February 27.
Kathy Markwick, freelance community consultant, said: “This event is a huge success and with a full house and we really did not want to disappoint our guests.
“I therefore spoke to Claire Whitham at the Fairway who was more than happy to host the event for us.
