A PENISTONE woman is set to host a garden party in a bid to raise funds for a nursing charity.

Anne Stewart, of Grasmere Close, will host the party on Sunday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

She said: “I’m a member of the national garden scheme.

“I held an open garden a while back but now I’m wanting to do it again but to raise money for a nursing charity.

“I’ll be serving refreshments all day.

“The minimum entrance fee is £5 but people can pay up to £10 if they’d like to do so.”

The event will take place on 4 Grasmere Close, Penistone.
