BARNSLEY Round Table is thriving – and is urging any men who would like to do more in 2025 to get in touch.

The Barnsley branch would like to hear from any men, aged between 18 and 45 who are interested in joining.

A spokesman said: “We are absolutely thriving in 2025! We were delighted to welcome four potential new members at our latest meeting, as well as induct three new ones! If you are looking to DO MORE in 2025, give back to your community, raise money for local causes and expand your social life, don't hesitate to message.

“Round Table is for all men aged 18-45 no matter your job, background or wealth. No secret handshakes, no suits and gavels. Just local guys having fun and giving back.

“We are teachers, bakers, IT workers, public servants, medics, consultants, dads, print coordinators, infrastructure engineers and business owners … and we are growing!

“We are just an average group of lads looking to get out once or twice a month, to do something different on a boring midweek evening and escape from the pressures of everyday life.”

Some of the activities the Round Table do include virtual reality games, butchery night, rock climbing, escape rooms, assault course night, paddle boarding, drone flying and clay pigeon shooting.

Barnsley Round Table also organises Locke Park bonfire and donates the proceeds to many local charities and organisations. Anyone interested should contact them via Facebook.
