SOUTH Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a takeaway driver was assaulted and his scooter was stolen.
It was reported that at around 5.40pm on July 16 a Domino's Pizza delivery driver was riding in the Onyx Retail Park, Harris Hawk Way, Wath Upon Dearne.
When he approached and stopped at a zebra crossing a group of teenagers approached the driver and assaulted him - before stealing the scooter he was driving.
The scooter was found abandoned in Mill View, Bolton Upon Dearne at 6.20pm.
Officers are keen to identify the individuals - thought to be aged around 16 and 17.
They also wish to speak to anyone who may have been in the Onyx Retail Park prior or shortly after the incident to assist with enquiries.
