POLICE UPDATE: Following an earlier appeal for information, missing Barnsley girl Katie has been found safe and well.
POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing 13-year-old Barnsley girl.
Katie was last seen at 1pm yesterday (Saturday) in the Thurnscoe area.
Katie is described as a white girl, of a medium build, and with long blonde hair, who is 5ft 7ins tall. She was last seen wearing a beige jumper, black leggings, and pink and purple trainers.
She is known to frequent Goldthorpe and Thurnscoe as well as Barnsley town centre.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Katie's welfare and want to speak to anybody who has seen her.
