BARNSLEY Council has teamed up with Reds in the Community to help support men's mental health across the borough.
Team Talk will be led by the group who will host weekly sessions for men to socialise over a game of football.
Figures show that men are three-times more likely to die by suicide than women, but are less likely to accept help because of stigma around the subject of mental health.
The sessions can also help beat loneliness caused by the lockdown periods.
