Roadwork Round-up: Drivers told to expect delays

TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in place on Broadway tomorrow (Sunday).

CityFibre is responsible for the works which will take place between 8am and 6pm. Motorists have been warned to expect delays.

WORK to renew the road lining on Old Mill Lane will take place tomorrow (Sunday) night. A road closure will be in place on Old Mill Lane between Harborough Hill Road and Old Tannery Road from 5pm on Sunday to 5am on Monday (January 27). A signed diversion route will be in place.

TEMPORARY traffic lights could also cause delays in Wath this weekend. Tomorrow (Sunday), lights will be in place on Fitzwilliam Street. Quickline Communications are responsible for the work.

DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays as resurfacing work takes place on roads in Athersley South. A road closure on Chatsworth Road between the A633 Rotherham Road and Derwent Road starting on Monday and lasting for two weeks. Closures will be in place on weekdays between 8am and 5pm, with roads reopening after each working shift and diversion routes in place. The roads will be open after each working shift and signed diversion routes will be in place during this time. Access for residents will only be permissible when safe to do so.

DELAYS are also expected in Higham early next month. On February 2, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, temporary traffic lights will be in place on Higham Common Road. Openreach is responsible for the work.
