HOUSEHOLD waste and recycling schedules will change over the Christmas and New Year.
Residents who are due to have a collection on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day will be subject to the following changes:
For those who are due to have a collection on Tuesday December 25:
▪Grey bins will be collected on Saturday December 22 ▪Blue bins will be collected on Tuesday December 18 (with the grey bin)
▪Brown bins will be collected on Thursday December 20
For those who are due to have a collection on Wednesday December 26
▪Grey bins will be collected on Saturday December 29 ▪Blue bins will be collected on Wednesday December 19 (with the grey bin)
▪Brown bins will be collected on Friday December 21
For those who are due to have a collection on Tuesday January 1
▪Grey bins will be collected on Monday December 31
▪Blue bins will be collected on Thursday January 3 ▪Brown bins will be collected on Friday January 4
Barnsley’s waste and recycling sites at Smithies, Worsbrough, Goldthorpe and Penistone are open every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
