UPDATE FROM POLICE: ‘We are glad to confirm that Jaqueline, who was missing from Barnsley today, has been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.’

POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing Barnsley woman.

Jaqueline, aged 61, was last seen today (Tuesday) at 7.50am at Greenfoot Lane and has not been seen or heard from since.

She is described as a white woman, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with long grey hair. She is believed to be wearing a burgundy coat and brown boots.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Jaqueline’s welfare and want to speak to anybody who has seen her.
