A DOZEN local food establishments have been awarded new food hygiene ratings.
Five stars Marseb Filipino Cuisine on High Street in Goldthorpe was given a five-star rating after being assessed on November 7.
Highgate WMC and The Chestnut Tree both also received top marks following their latest inspection.
As did The Officials Club, based on Lidgett Lane in Thurnscoe.
New Deniro’s Pizza, based on Darton Lane in Mapplewell, also received five stars following an assessment in September.
Also receiving five stars were The Butterfly Cafe and The Snap Tin, both in Goldthorpe, Saffron, in Wombwell, Double Tree Delights in Bolton and the town centre’s Albert Street Cafe.
Four stars Tina’s Top Shop in Monk Bretton was rated four-out-of-five after an inspection on September 27.
One star Luigi’s Pizzeria, on Redbrook Road in Gawber, was given a one-star score on October 7.
