A BARNSLEY drug dealer who played a key role in two crack cocaine and heroin lines at a seaside town has been jailed.
Marcus Whaling, of Prince Arthur Street, admitted supplying crack cocaine and heroin in Bridlington between February 11 and June 8 last year.
The 22-year-old was involved in two drug supply lines running out of Bridlington – one called the Manc Line and the other the Barnsley Boys Line.
Undercover police made telephone calls and, on one occasion, an officer was met by Whaling in Tennyson Avenue, Bridlington, on February 21 last year.
The undercover officer was supplied with three wraps of crack cocaine for £20.
Whaling was arrested and he was found with a small amount of cannabis.
His phone was seized and multiple bulk messages involving the Manc Line were found to have been sent out.
Whaling was jailed for four years and nine months at Hull Crown Court last week.
The prison term included a consecutive 12 months for breaching the 16-month suspended sentence.
