MOTORISTS have been warned that the latest round of roadworks may cause delays.
Motorists have been warned of delays in Great Houghton whilst work takes place. Rotherham Road will be the subject of temporary traffic lights on Thursday and Friday. Barnsley Council are responsible for the work taking place.
Temporary traffic lights will be placed on Smithies Lane overnight next week. On Wednesday night from 8pm until 6am the following day the lights will be in place. Yorkshire Water will be conducting the work.
Yorkshire Water work in Penistone could cause delays for motorists over the coming days. Temporary traffic lights were placed on Wellhouse Lane yesterday (Friday). They will continue to be there until Monday whilst the work takes place.
Temporary traffic lights could cause delays in Cubley. Lights have been in place this week on Mortimer Road, and further work is due to take place on Mortimer Drive from Thursday. Motorists have been warned to plan their journeys accordingly. Openreach are responsible for the work.
