AN ARREST warrant has been issued for a woman who was prosecuted for neglecting three dogs by the RSPCA.

Kimberley Grant, of Kingsland Court, Royston, failed to attend a hearing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday.

The 33-year-old was found guilty in her absence and an arrest warrant was granted.

Meanwhile, a woman who was banned from keeping cats who is charged with breaching the order has been bailed.

Sadie Whiteley, of Peveril Crescent, Wombwell, denies the offence.

The 27-year-old was previously disqualified from keeping a pet.

She will return to Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on October 2.
