PLANS to build a detached single-storey building to create a new flat at a residential service in Wombwell have been submitted to the council.
An application for the work to take place at Dove Valley Mews, on Park Street, was submitted earlier this month.
Dove Valley Mews is a community residential service providing care for adults living with a learning disability.
Two neighbouring properties have been made aware of the plans with no appeals to date. Public consultation ends on September 13.
PLANS to demolish two Hoyland properties and replace them with four new houses have been approved by the council. Both 25 and 27 Millhouses Street will be demolished after an application was submitted in January. They will be replaced by four new detached dwellings and new garages.

An application was originally submitted in May for the work to take place on Tyers Hill. These plans were given the green light by the council’s planning board last week.
PLANNING permission is being sought to install an external cooling system on a Tankersley building. If approved, the work will take place on The Computer Centre on Maple Road.
A total of 24 neighbouring properties have been made aware of the plans with no appeals to date. Public consultation ends on September 12.
