TWO students who are on placement at a charity in Barnsley are raising money to buy a karaoke machine for members.

As part of their masters degree in Occupational Health at Sheffield Hallam University, Jade Lyons and Samantha Mullen are spending time at Barnsley Independent Alzheimers and Dementia Support (BIADS) day centre.

Jade said: “We are each doing a little fundraiser to raise money for a karaoke machine for their homemade bar within the centre and the rest of the money will be donated as extra!”

The girls have collected donations and are raffling a hamper to support the day centre on Eastgate in Barnsley.
