BERNESLAI Homes has recently refreshed its volunteering offer so that employees can spend time volunteering for local causes as part of their ‘Can Do Crew’.
So far 25 volunteers have been involved giving 100 hours of time.
A recent volunteer day took place at Saville Court Independent Living Scheme, Hoyland, where staff worked with volunteers and residents and got stuck into weeding, mowing lawns and giving the place a facelift.
Amanda Garrard, chief executive at Berneslai Homes, said: “Thanks to everyone for getting involved and working together to make a brilliant difference.
“Our ‘Can Do Crew’ is a great opportunity and it’s also a good way to get to know different colleagues across the business, support the wider community and support staff wellbeing and professional growth.”
