THE MAYhem festival which visited locations around the borough earlier this month has been labelled a big success.
The final two street circus events across Barnsley took place on May 18 and 19.
The MAYhem festival began at Cudworth Park on Saturday May 4.
Since then, it has travelled to Penistone, Hoyland, Royston and Goldthorpe – finishing its tour in Wombwell last Sunday.
The council engaged with street theatre company Yellow Bus events to bring their unique brand of entertainment to the town – and it’s been dubbed a big success.
