A LOCAL community centre will be providing support for people in need over Christmas.
Cortonwood Comeback Community Centre will be open on both Christmas Day morning and Christmas Eve offering food and warmth to those who need it.
People attending on either day will have the chance to take warm packs, and in extreme cases an electric blanket, which have been donated by Cadent Gas.
Gifts donated by Cranswick Food and donations from Morrisons will also be available.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “If we can help just one person feel less lonely and isolated this Christmas that is an achievement in itself.”
