A MAN has been arrested for stealing beef from a supermarket.

The 33-year-old was arrested by officers from Barnsley West Neighbourhood Policing team.

A spokesperson added: “A 33-year-old male from Doncaster Road, Stairfoot has been arrested after he stole four beef joints from Aldi, Stairfoot.

“The investigation is ongoing.”
