PARENTS are being reminded that the deadline is approaching to apply for primary school places in September.
January 15 is the cut-off to apply ahead of children starting school in September.
A council spokesperson said: “Applying online for your child’s school place is quick and easy – all you need to get started is an email address. If you haven’t already chosen your preferences, there’s lots of useful information on Barnsley Council’s website to help you make an informed decision.
“Apply online today by visiting Barnsley’s Virtual Family Hub to beat the January deadline.”
