PENISTONE Fire Station is holding a have-a-go event at the weekend aimed at anyone who would like to become an on-call firefighter for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.
It’s at Penistone Community Fire Station on Sheffield Road, Springvale, on Saturday from 9.30am until 12noon and is for those interested in becoming an on-call firefighter at either Penistone or Stocksbridge stations.
