A PUB will be serving afternoon tea with a Yorkshire twist this week.

Dearne Valley Farm in Birdwell will be filling Yorkshire Puddings with a classic afternoon tea treats.

Traditional classics such as egg mayonaise, chesse and pickle all served in a Yorkshire Pudding, an idea created by David Hurst, a 'cakeateer' at Dearne Valley Farm.

You will also receive a Victoria sponge topped with cream and and jam, served inside a Yorkshire pudding. To accompany the treats you will receive a proper Yorkshire brew or you can upgrade to prosecco.

Emma Hodgson, general manager at Dearne Valley Farm, said: "A lot of people have doubts when they first hear about it but when you try it you realise how good it tastes."
