WORK has started on a new play area at Wilthorpe Park.
The Friends of Wilthorpe Park say they are a step closer to opening the area, after new pieces of equipment were installed at the site.
The project, funded by a £42,231 donation from grant-giving body WREN, will see a basket swing, vortex spinner, climbing frames, new seating and a picnic area installed.
The play area will be completed by the beginning of June.
