POLICE were called to the Courthouse pub in Barnsley - after a woman was found in the toilets with a hypodermic needle in her arm.
Ambulance crews attended the Regent Street pub first when the woman, aged 35 and from Barnsley, was discovered at 2.25pm last Friday.
It was first thought she had suffered a drug overdose. She then became 'quite agitated' and police were called in as a precautionary measure.
The woman gave the empty hypodermic to ambulance staff and was taken to Barnsley Hospital.
