FIREFIGHTERS were called to two deliberate blazes on Tuesday night
Crews first tackled a wheelie bin which was deliberately set alight in Kendray.
Upon arrival on Farm Road, at 7.20pm, the crew from Barnsley station extinguished the blaze. They left the scene at 7.40pm.
Just hours later and fire crews were once again called out to another arson attack, this time in Wombwell. Upon arrival on Junction Close, at 10.45pm, the crew from Dearne station extinguished the blaze. They came away at 11.05pm.
THREE fire crews attended a road traffic collision at Broomhill Roundabout on Tuesday night. Upon arrival at the scene at 7.30pm, the crews from Cudworth, Tankersley and Dearne stations found a car on its roof in a ditch. Firefighters assisted a casualty out of the vehicle. They left the scene at 9.40pm.
FIREFIGHTERS from Dearne station were called to Wombwell on Wednesday night. The crew arrived on Snowden Terrace, at 8.30pm, to extinguish a deliberate rubbish blaze. They came away at 8.50pm.
TWO wheelie bins were deliberately set alight in Kendray on Wednesday night. Upon arrival on Farm Road, at 7.55pm, the crew from Barnsley station extinguished the blaze. They left the scene at 8.20pm.
A PILE of rubbish was deliberately set alight in Darfield on Sunday night. Upon arrival on Nanny Marr Road, at 7.10pm, the crew from Dearne station extinguished the blaze. They left the scene at 8pm.
A CAR was deliberately torched in Cudworth on Sunday night. Upon arrival on Snydale Road, at 10.55pm, the crew from Cudworth station extinguished the blaze. They came away at 12.05am.
