A COMMUNITY events planner is searching for local country musicians and line dancing groups to perform at a Farmers’ Market in April.

The Spring Farmers Market will be held at Monk Bretton Priory and a Jolly Good Communities spokesperson said: “Country music has been on the rise lately and we would love to bring some country vibes to Monk Bretton Priory.

“We have approx 2,000 visitors to our events so it's a great way to get yourself out there and perform within the stunning grounds of an 800-year-old English Heritage site, the atmosphere has been loved by all that perform with us. The event is run by our amazing volunteers and is free to the public to attend with an events field for parking."

The event is on April 27 from11-4pm and already confirmed are mobile farm yard, vintage tractors and food traders.

You can get in touch with them through their Facebook page Jolly Good Communities.
