THE police have arrested a man after he allegedly climbed the 33-ft sculpture outside Barnsley Town Hall.
They confirmed that a 33-year-old man from Barnsley was arrested at around 7.20pm on Sunday, May 26, on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, after reports he was climbing on the new structure.
He has since been charged with being drunk and disorderly, as well as being in possession of a Class A drug, and is due to appear at Barnsley Magistrates' Court on June 10.
