A LOCAL gym turned itself pink last weekend as they worked to raise nearly £3,000 for a breast cancer charity.
Red Fox Training in Hoyland joined forces with fellow local businesses Jilly’s Fashion and Bee Boutique hosted the jam-packed day on Saturday, that on top of all the ‘usual sort of things’ like raffles and cake sales featured a ticketed fashion show and all-day smoothie bar that was making appropriately pink coloured drinks.
Events on the day raised £2,653 for CoppaFeel, a breast cancer awareness charity encouraging the early detection of symptoms and local businesses have also pledged their support which will hopefully raise the total to £3,000.
