THE latest food hygiene assessments have been handed out to Barnsley takeaways, restaurants and pubs.
Three Barnsley takeaways all scored the top marks. Triple H Chippy, on Wombwell Road in Platts Common, received the five-star rating on July 18. Whilst both Tony’s, on Barnsley Road in Dodworth, and Ruby’s Open Kitchen in Mapplewell also picked up the best score.
Three Barnsley restaurants also all five-star food hygiene ratings. Bella’s Kitchen, in Royston and The Pear Tree Pantry, in Cawthorne, both received the score following an assessment on July 11. Dreaming Napoli, based on New Street, also picked up top marks.
The Darton Tap and Ring O’Bells in Royston and the Engineer’s Arms on Higham Common Road all received five stars too.
