MANVERS Lake will host the Bluebell Wood dragon boat race this weekend.
Taking place at the lake from 10am tomorrow, those in attendance will be raising funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “The trusty crews will be battling it out across the choppy waters of Manvers Lake, cheered on all the way by supporters on the sidelines.
“Teams of intrepid rowers always give it all they’ve got.
“Who will make it across in the quickest time and come out on top?
“From stalls, entertainment and activities, there’s always plenty of fun to be had on dry land too.
“Join us between 10am and 5pm at Manvers Lake. We can’t wait to see you there.”
