FIREFIGHTERS from across Barnsley were called to four blazes on Sunday night.
The first incident occurred in Wath-upon-Dearne at 7.25pm, as a crew from Barnsley station extinguished an accidental bin fire on Station Road.
Another accidental fire took place on Aldham House Lane in Wombwell, at 7.40pm, as firefighters tackled a blaze involving cut straw.
A crew from Barnsley station then were called to Underwood Avenue in Worsbrough Dale, at 10.15pm, to reports of a deliberate grassland fire.
They put out the blaze and left the scene at 10.50pm.
Then at 11.55pm, two crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations put out a deliberate grass fire on Fish Dam Lane, Carlton.
