POLICE in Barnsley are appealing for information after a jewellery theft from Elsecar Heritage Centre last year.
Officers were called at around 1am on November 2 to reports that four offenders, wearing hooded jackets and dark clothing, had forced entry to the main gate of the centre.
It’s believed they were travelling in a dark grey Citroen Dispatch and smashed a window at the Antiques Centre to gain entry.
Some jewellery and a safe was stolen during the burglary.
A police spokesperson said: “Since the incident, extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate those involved.
“Officers have now released this image of some of the jewellery stolen in the hopes that someone may recognise it and be able to assist with enquiries.
“Do you have any information that might help our officers?
“Have you seen this jewellery for sale in the local area?
“If you can help us, please call 101 quoting incident number 36 of November 2.”
