BARNSLEY head to Stoke City tonight as they aim to right the wrongs of Saturday’s away defeat.
The Reds didn’t have a shot on goal in the weekend’s game away at Bournemouth, leading boss Markus Schopp to urge his side to be ‘more clinical and creative’ in tonight’s game.
Midfielder Josh Benson won’t be travelling with the squad after a positive Covid test, and Ben Williams’ injury puts him on the long list with Obbi Oulare, Mads Andersen, Carlton Morris and Jordan Williams.
Schopp said: “Stoke is a team who wants possession and have forward with a lot of quality.
“They are trying to press high and they are very dangerous with set pieces.
“We are prepared, we had a good training session on Tuesday and we have a lot of answers for how Stoke play.
“It’s a good team who started really well this season.
“They have quality and they know how to attack very high.
“They are strong with set pieces and we have to think about this.
“We go there to Stoke to learn but also to take points.”
The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
