A BARNSLEY dancer is touring China with one of the UK's leading dance theatre companies.
Antony Middleton is performing with the Motionhouse dance company in China and will then move on to America in the New Year with the Scattered production tour.
The 23-year-old professional dancer and choreographer studied at Barnsley College.
He has already worked with dance companies such as Balletboyz and was a dance captain in the opening ceremony of the Paralympics.
He is also a World championship bronze medallist in acrobatic gymnastics,
College director of arts Josie Whiteley said: “It’s always great to see the progression our students have made, and Antony has certainly gone a long way in a short amount of time.
"I am certain that he will inspire another generation of successful performers from Barnsley College to set their aims high.”
