A SIX-WEEK programme that helps small Barnsley businesses trade through lockdown is available for business owners.
The scheme - Barnsley Boost Programme - offers mentoring workshops to help create a plan for the year ahead.
Coun Tim Cheetham, cabinet spokesperson for place, said: “We know small businesses in Barnsley are facing significant challenges.
“Through the workshops, we hope to equip people with the knowledge to adapt their business models, to be able to help people to sell safely and successfully.
“I would urge any business owner in need of some help, advice or just some positivity, to take advantage of this.
“This is part of a wider package of support that we are providing to businesses across the borough to give them a fighting chance to get through these difficult times.”
