A SLIP road will be closed overnight on the M1 near Barnsley while improvements are made this week.
From 8pm today (Monday) until 6am on October 16, the slip road between junction 37 and 38 will be closed. Delays are expected to be less than ten minutes.
MOTORISTS are being warned to expect delays whilst emergency gas works take place in Kingstone this week. Temporary traffic lights will be placed on Park Road on Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Cadent are responsible for the work.
A LANE will be closed on the M1 near Barnsley later this month. From 8pm on October 15 to 5am the following morning, a lane between junction 36 and 37 will be closed northbound. Delays of around ten minutes are expected whilst general cleaning and maintenance takes place.
TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in place in Darfield for a number of days later this month. From October 14 to October 18, the lights will be in place on Doncaster Road, at the junction with Balkley Lane. Motorists have been warned that delays are likely whilst the council conducts the work.
A PENISTONE road will be closed later this month for a week. Victoria Street, from High Street to Vicarage Walk, will be closed from October 20 for approximately one week. Delays are likely whilst fibre network is installed. An alternative route is available via High Street, Ward Street and Wilson Avenue.
A NEW manhole will be constructed in Oxspring later this month. Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Roughbirchworth Lane from October 14 to October 18 while the work takes place. Motorists have been warned that delays are possible.
