EVERYONE’s invited to a very special video premiere at the Parkway Cinema on Monday teatime.

The hospice has teamed up with Barnsley’s Tom Masters to record a cover version of ‘Lean on Me’ which is accompanied by a video featuring Tom and some of the brilliant staff, volunteers and patients from Barnsley Hospice.

A spokesman for the Parkway said: “Admission is free, we just ask you to consider popping a donation in the buckets of the volunteers who’ll be joining us.

“There’ll even be a red carpet on Eldon Street and a couple of paparazzi ready to snap some photos too, so make sure to pop by and support Barnsley Hospice’s 30th anniversary with us!”

The music video is in celebration of the Hospice’s 30th Anniversary and #HospiceCareWeek.

A hospice spokesperson said: “To launch this amazing project, we are delighted to be working with Parkway Cinema Barnsley in the town centre to hold a premiere of the video on Monday October 7 between 5:15 and 5:45 pm.

“This event is open to the public and we hope many of our supporters will join us on the evening to watch the video for the first time and celebrate the difference Barnsley Hospice makes. “
