BARNSLEY Hospital has released guidance to help you to clean your masks properly.
Shoppers across England have been required to wear a mask since July.
But how do you clean them?
Barnsley Hospital has released information to help clean your masks after a long day of wearing them.
A spokesperson said: “Once you have removed the face mask, store reusable face coverings in a plastic bag until you have the opportunity to wash them.
“If the face covering is single use, dispose of it in a residual waste bin and do not put them in a recycling bin.
“Wash your face covering regularly. You can use your normal washing powder and wash it with other laundry.
“Wash on a high temperature to help kill germs and the virus.
“You must throw away your face covering if it is damaged.”
