TWO men have been arrested following a stabbing on Tuesday night.
Police were called to Honeywell Street, near the town centre, at 8.41pm and arrested a 38-year-old and a 37-year-old.
It is reported that two men suffered stab wounds and both were taken to hospital, although their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The street was cordoned off overnight and well into Wednesday.
Detective Constable Michael Wilby said: “We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this reported assault.
“Anyone with information about this incident should contact us on 101, quoting incident number 1,059 of November 5, 2024.”
